Following SS Rajamouli’s film ‘Makkhi,’ Nani, dubbed the “natural star of South Cinema,” has returned to the Hindi-speaking public with his flick Dussehra. Eega, one of SS Rajamouli’s most successful films, was released in Hindi as Makkhi in 2012. Nani, by the way, is quite famous among TV viewers who watch South Korean movies. ‘Jersey,’ movie of Shahid Kapoor, was a remake of his grandmother’s Telugu film of the same name.
Storyline:
The narrative of the film ‘Dussehra’ is set in Godhwarikhani’s Veerlapalli hamlet. Where individuals continue to drink. Without booze, his existence is horrible. And work in a coal mine, where they believe it is vital to consume alcohol. Dharni, Suri, and Vennela are three friends who reside in the same hamlet. Dharni discovers that her friend Suri is also in love with Vennela, so she gives up her feelings for the sake of her buddy. Politics is also taking on in the village between two groups. The plot of the film is how the lives of these three people alter as a result of this, and how Dharni finds her love.
When the films of the South began to be dubbed and released at the all-India level, and they began to be successful, every great actor of the South has been compelled to take a plunge in this rushing Ganga. Perhaps it was with this in mind that Nani decided to release his film ‘Dasara’ on a national scale and travelled to numerous Hindi-speaking towns to promote it. He is also claimed to have launched the film’s Hindi trailer in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh’s capital. The issue now is whether this picture would be able to produce the same enchantment as the dubbed Hindi versions of ‘Baahubali,’ ‘KGF,’ ‘Pushpa,’ and ‘Kantara,’ since after viewing it, it appears that its makers ‘KGF’ and ‘Kantara’ bring Pushpa’s concoction.
‘Dasara’ is Shrikant Odela’s directorial debut. Due to a cocktail of spirits trade, rural politics, caste caste, friendship and love tale, the director was unable to carry the film in the appropriate path. As the complete cast of the film arrived in Mumbai for the ‘Dasara’ song launch, Nani said that because the film is set in a rural location, everyone’s clothes are similar to ‘Pushpa’. He keeps recalling the same thing over and again while viewing the movie.
Performance:
Sharad Kelekar, who dubbed for Prabhas in ‘Baahubali’ in Hindi, has now dubbed for Nani in the film. But, Sharad Kelekar’s voice does not match the role of Nani in the film. This is the film’s weakest link. Nani has attempted to be very attentive in the character of Dharni, from wardrobe to body language. Nani’s action persona in the film is really worth seeing. Dimple Shetty and Keerthy Suresh, the film’s heroine, have also done an excellent job.
This film is entirely typical of South Indian cinema. There is a fantastic action sequence in the entire film, which has also received a lot of hard effort. Nonetheless, some behaviours appear to be horrible. Shrikant Odela, the film’s director, wanted to produce a nice picture, however he needed to work a little more on the plot and screenplay. The thick voice of Sharad Kelekar prevents such feelings from coming through in Nani’s sorrowful scene. In the Hindi belt, the film ‘Dasara’ was released with Ajay Devgan’s picture ‘Bhola,’ both of which had a lot of action, with everything else being negligible.
