The comedian Kapil Sharma’s movie “Zwigato” has recently made headlines. The movie, which Nandita Das directed, will debut on March 17. Prior to that, they are ferociously advertising this film. He made it to Shahnaz Gill’s chat programme as well. He spoke extensively about his personal life here. Kapil Sharma also recalled his father’s words. ‘Work is worship,’. I was not aware of this at the time. But when he got older, that’s how I interpreted it. I once received advice from my father to keep working hard. If you work hard in the beginning, you’ll enjoy yourself afterwards; if you enjoy yourself now, you’ll work hard the rest of your life. And I felt touched.
The Rs 25,000 job of Kapil Sharma
Kapil Sharma recalled his days of suffering as well. I obtained a job in an Indian restaurant in Singapore, I was informed. I was supposed to receive 25,000 rupees there for performing a song by Kishore Kumar. I was prepared for this assignment as well. I even committed 200 Kishore Kumar songs and kept in memory. So I initially phoned my mentor and told him about this work and he stated, ‘You will go to Singapore, spend 20k and save just 5k. Better still, I can find you a job for Rs 10,000 here. So, because I only wanted to work, I agreed to this as well. In addition, things changed so that I had to find employment once my father passed away.
Kapil Sharma received a 10 lakh cheque.
The “Laughter Challenge” was also discussed by Kapil. Said: Thankfully, God prevented me from making a mistake. Because I realised at that point that I could only work on television, I was offered The Laughter Challenge. My life was altered by it. The Laughter Challenge didn’t pay me anything. I just participated and became more well-known. I received a cheque for Rs 10 lakh after winning the competition.
