The question is not how hard you fall, the question is whether you get up after falling or not.’ The trailer of Anupam Kher and Neena Gupta’s film ‘Shiv Shastri Balboa’ has been released. There is nothing in the trailer of 2 minutes 43 seconds, which has never been seen or heard on the cinematic screen before. But still it carries you away like a raging river. At the end of the trailer, Anupam Kher’s character Shiv Shastri talks about getting up after falling in life. The story is of an old retired father. He is a fighter man. He himself did not become a boxer, but gave many boxers to the country. This is the reason why people call Shiv Shastri as ‘Balboa’. After retirement, he reaches America with his son. There he meets Neena Gupta and from here the story of Shiv Shastri changes.
Shiv Shastri Balboa Story: In the past few years, the interest of the cinema screen has increased among the elderly in our house. At this stage of age, they are often treated like an old sofa lying in the house. Those who enhance the beauty of the house, but no one pays attention to their wishes. Director Ajay Venugopalan has created this story around this time frame. Well, this is the first time you get to see two legends like Anupam Kher and Neena Gupta together on screen. Both are magical actors and certainly kill the story with their performances.
Trying to break stereotypes
Seeing the trailer, it is clear that this film is going to try to break the stereotypes of modern life. Nargis Fakhri and Jugal Hansraj are also seen in the film. Shiv Shastri loves boxing. He reaches America and shows the boxing gloves to his grandson. But he is not interested in it. Shiv Shastri has to meet ‘Rocky’ (Sylvester Stallone). Rocky boxed in the film wearing the red boxing gloves he had.
The story has drama, adventure, fun
Neena Gupta enters Shiv Shastri’s life as two Indians living abroad. Nina tells that she has been imprisoned in the walls of the house for eight years, she has to go back to India. Shiv Shastri promises to help. He gets Neena’s visa done. But in the meanwhile a thief takes away his purse, which had passport, visa and money. The story of the film becomes like an adventure trip from here. Now the police is behind. There are Nargis Fakhri and Sharib Hashmi to help. There is a little fun and a little drama.
