Anuj, a shy and respectful boy, catches Ritu’s eye and charms her with his innocent and sincere demeanor. After their first date goes awry, Anuj is honest about his no-show, revealing that he was sent to get extra holes punched on his belt by his father.

A jock-like admirer of Ritu challenges Anuj to a duel, while Ritu’s Gurugram friends look down on him. The threat of Hindutva groups also looms, casting a shadow over their Valentine’s date.

It’s worth noting that “Gutar Gu” is not the first project for Thakur or Bansal. They had previously acted in Pandor’s short film “Gupt Gyaan.”
